How to eat healthy when you are not at home

Advise number 1

If you know in advace that you will eat out for the night do not skip your lunch in order to avoid calories. Maintain your normal routine to reduce the temptation to overeat when you go out.

Advise number 2

Do not be afraid to ask if you can make changes to the meal you ordered. For example: replace french fries with more salad or ask if the meal sauce can come to the side so you can choose how much of it you would like to add to your meal.

Advise number 3

Some foods can become much unhealthier because of the way they are cooked. For example, grilled chicken is definitely a healthier choice than fried chicken.

Advise number 4

If you go out to eat occasionally, make sure you enjoy it and remember that a meal will not make a difference. It is the calories that we will consume in total during the day / week that will make the difference.
